I’m going to be strapped to a wing of a flying plane to raise money for Billy’s Battalion.
Billy Thompson is the son of Ellie & Jamie, friends from Effingham & Leatherhead Rugby Club, who passed away on the 31st March last year from a brain tumour (DIPG), 2 weeks before his 5th birthday.
Ellie & Jamie have set up a charity in his memory dedicated to the fight against this cruel disease. Labelled the worst cancer there i,s which currently has no cure and a prognosis of 12 months.
Billy was hugely brave throughout his treatment, all the way through to his passing, and I am going to be brave myself and stand on the wing of a flying plane….
