Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma affects around 40 children a year in the UK. At the moment, there is no cure and no proven treatments for DIPG. Abbie’s Army is committed to raising funds and, with the support and advice of Scientific Advisors, commissioning or contributing to high-quality and innovative medical research to find a cure for DIPG. With your help, you can give hope to future DIPG families.
Adam Bagley’s Billy the Brave comic, inspired by Billy’s incredible courage during his battle with DIPG brain cancer, has been nominated for a ComicScene Award for Best Charity Comic! Billy’s comic is up against big hitters like DUI and Shift It. It’s a Billy vs Goliath situation!
This nomination is already a huge win, but taking home the award would be monumental. It’s not just about Billy’s story—it’s about shining a light on DIPG and the impact of paediatric brain cancer.
We need your votes! Voting closes at the end of the month, so it’s GO TIME!
